A chutney with capsicum as the star of dish. Here’s the recipe.
Onion 1 medium sized, sliced
Tomato 1 small, diced
Capsicum 1 chopped
Garlic 2 pods
Dried red chilly – 2-3
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Broken urad dal 1 tsp
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Gather all the ingredients.
Heat oil in a wok.
When the oil is hot, throw in the onions along with tomato and garlic, dried red chilly.
Salute well, till the onions turned brownish and tomato is cooked.
Now add the capsicum and cook till the capsicum turns light green. You can sprinkle water if needed.
Let it cool. Grind to a smooth paste.
Season it and enjoy with idly/dosa.
