TOMATO PUREÈ

Making tomato puree at home is very easy. Here’s the step-by-step recipe.

To make tomato puree you’ll need,

Tomato (Bangalore) – 3

Water -2  & ½  to 3 cups

Blender

Three big tomatoes will yield about 2 cups of tomato puree

Heat water in a pan, along with the tomatoes.

Let the water boil. When there’s a slit on the tomato, turn the heat off. The slit may not appear on all the tomato. In that case, turn off the heat in about 10-12 minutes. That should do.

Let the tomato cool. Drain the hot water water and run tap water. Peel the skin of the tomato. The skin would easily come off.

Place the skinned tomato in a blender.

Run the blender on medium speed for 30 sec to a minute.
